Design Team Revealed!!

Hello everyone today is Design Team Reveal day and I super excited to introduce our very first Creative Design Team Members to you.

I had a great response to the Design Team call and saw a lot of talent come through. I wish I could have placed each of you on the team but I really wanted to keep the team to a good working size. If you didn't make it this time, please don't think it has anything to do with your talent or ability because each application I received was awesome and flowing with talent! I just did not have the space for you all.

So, without further ado here are the very first Sketches with Color Creative Design Team Members.

In addition to our regular design team members I have decided to have an altered project coordinator This team member will be responsible for posting various altered projects to the site for inspiration using the appropriate monthly challenge colors. These projects will be posted on off challenge weeks (2nd & 4th Mondays). These projects will be for inspiration only but we would love to see you try them out and upload to the blog!

Design Team Call Deadline

Hello everyone, I am sorry but I am going to have to move the DT call deadline up by one day. The deadline for applying will be October 30th at midnight CST. I am doing this so I can announce the DT and meet our grand opening date of November 1st. So if you plan to apply for a DT position, please submit your application by midnight October 30th.

Design Team Call (extended)

Hello everyone, I am extending the DT call to October 31st, so if you are interested please apply and by all means please post the call on your blogs. I will still announce the selected DTs on the 31st of October. Thanks!

We are excited to announce our first design team call for the Sketches with Color Challenge blog. Do you like creating layouts using sketches? Do you have a blog? Do you have a Facebook page? If so, I am looking for 5 people would like to be a part of our new challenge blog.

SWC has been created to combine sketches with color combination to help you get those photos scrapped and to have fun while doing it. Our challenges will be bi-weekly and will run the entire month. Challenges will consist of various sketches, colors and perhaps even twists. The challenges could be:

Sketch + Color

Sketch + One Color

Sketch + Color +Twist

Before submitting, be sure to read the important details below:

DESIGN TEAM CALL DETAILS:

Five Design Team members with a love for sketches.
Various creative styles from clean and simple to elegant and elaborate.
Must have a Facebook page (this is how we keep our DT informed)
Individuals willing to commit to a three month term (November 1^st-February 1^st, 2013)

DESIGN TEAM MEMBER EXPECTATIONS:

Create two layouts from given sketches and criteria each month.
Comment on ALL entries.
Be active in the DT Facebook group
Candidates must have a blog, be on Facebook and be able to take clear photos in good lighting.

DESIGN TEAM BENEFITS:

To be a part of a new, upcoming and hopefully successful sketch blog.
We are not able to offer DT packages at this time, those members applying and selected must do so because of their love for the craft.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

We’re looking for your best creative work. Please submit 3 recent layouts showcasing your best work and creative style. One layout must be from the sketch below.
